We have a few places available on two forthcoming New Academics Programme development sessions for Research Staff. If you are interested in attending either of the sessions, please let me know by e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) as soon as possible. Places are very strictly limited and will be issued on a first come, first served basis. Both sessions will be held in Humanities Bridgeford Street, room 1.69/1.70 on November 4th.
1. Feedback from students (14.00-15.00). The aim of this session is for participants to understand the role of University level questionnaires for students, to be aware of the many different ways available for getting feedback from students for different purposes, and to understand how to ensure that student feedback forms part of the input into course unit and programme development. As this will be a discussion-based session, it is only suitable for those who are currently engaged in teaching students.
2. Career Development Planning (15.15-17.00). The aim of this session is for participants to be able to develop and implement plans for their own personal development, and to understand what is available to support them in this development and how to access that support.
