Liverpool Hope University is a vibrant community with high scholarly ambitions.  We are proud of our past, confident in our present and ambitious for our future.  The University has recently been awarded Research Degree Awarding Powers and in the 2008 RAE entered a significant percentage of its staff in a variety of Units of Assessment including Education. This developing research expertise builds upon and complements our already well established reputation for excellence in teaching and learning. Our aim is to combine these elements of our work to become a research-informed, teaching led University of distinction and we have already made excellent progress in making this ambition a reality.  We now seek scholars in a number of areas who will join with us in pursuit of this goal; these opportunities include the posts of: Post Doctoral Teaching Fellow in Education and Related Subjects (5 posts)

As a Post-Doctoral Teaching Fellow within the Faculty of Education you will be expected to teach in a broad range of areas and applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals in the relevant fields. Though these are Post Doctoral Teaching Fellowships and not Post Doctoral Research Fellowships, you will also be welcome, and indeed encouraged, to make a contribution to a range of research activities within the Faculty and to develop your research profile.

Whilst we are happy to receive applications from candidates with different areas of expertise, we particularly welcome those in the areas of the Early Years Psychology, Early Years Social Policy, Learning Support in Schools and Teaching the Core Subjects of the National Curriculum.
