Venue: Roscoe Building, room 3.5
This workshop explores the opportunities gained by and possibilities arising from working with NGOs or non-governmental organisations. Researchers are encouraged to collaborate actively with NGOs in pursuit of their research and, often, working with NGOs allows researchers to carry out research “in the field”, actively putting their research skills and knowledge to the test. This workshop will be led by a former academic who has significant expertise in working with NGOs in various capacities. Participants will be able to ask questions and explore the benefits that working with NGOs can bring to a research project, including enhancing networking opportunities and identifying potential for collaboration.
