Tips for Tackling Writers Block

If you’re struggling with writer’s block, you might find some of the top tips offered by academics from around the world on a recent Inside Higher Ed post useful. But first…

The tips range from tried and tested methods advocated by writing experts (such as ‘free-writing’ and setting aside small blocks of regular time for writing) to the less scientific (having some chocolate or abandoning writing in favour of doing something totaly different). It’s useful to know that some of the strategies proposed by writing experts do seem to work for some people in real life, and maybe some of the others are worth a try if all else fails!
