New Realities toolkit: Using participatory visual methods

This toolkit, by Naomi Richards, is based on her experiences of using a variety of participatory methods (community arts, photo therapy and art therapy) in the ESRC-funded project ‘Representing Self – Representing Ageing’ which explored women’s experiences of ageing. The toolkit discusses the potential benefits that using these approaches can have for your research, and outlines some of the practical issues for all participants.
