Engagement@Manchester

One week to go…

Next Wednesday (18 April) is the second Engagement@Manchester meeting and this month we look at Podcasting.

This new series of monthly lunchtime sessions explore different aspects of public engagement. There is a wealth of expertise across the University and we are running these free events to help us share our ideas and experiences.

Who is it for?

All University of Manchester staff and students are welcome to attend and find out more about exciting public engagement opportunities. Everyone is welcome ?- no experience in public engagement is needed. We are keen to encourage new people to take their first steps in public engagement, as well as support those with more experience.

When and where is it happening?

Wednesday 18 April 12.30 – ? 1.30pm, Roscoe Building, room 1.010. This event will explore Podcasting and you will hear from people who are involved in arts and science podcasts across the University. You might be surprised to find out just how many successful podcasts there are!

What will happen?

A few speakers will present short case studies to give a taster of what they have worked on with plenty of time for discussion and networking. You will also get hear about upcoming opportunities to get involved and you have the chance to shape future get sessions.

How do you get involved?

There’s no need to book – just turn up! Teas and coffees will be provided – bring your lunch along with you.
